Question 1

What are Paveo digital outdoor displays?

Accepted Answer

State-of-the-art digital signage that replaces your chalkboard A-frame with high-impact, dynamic advertising built for the outdoors.

Question 2

Does Paveo have a dual-screen setup like a traditional A-frame?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Two screens face opposite directions, so people walking either way see your ads.

Question 3

Are Paveo displays wire-free? How are they powered?

Accepted Answer

Yes. They run on a rechargeable 100Ah lithium (LiFePO4) battery for a full day on a charge, with an optional power cable.

Question 4

Are they weatherproof? Can they stay out in the rain?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Paveo displays are designed to be weatherproof and robust, with protective coatings that resist water and dust.

Question 5

Do Paveo displays come with GPS tracking?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every display has GPS tracking for real-time location monitoring.

Question 6

Can Paveo show multiple ads?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can run several ads in a rotating sequence on the same screen.

Question 7

Can ads change based on the time and day?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Scheduling lets you show breakfast deals in the morning and happy hour in the afternoon, automatically.

Question 8

Can Paveo play video ads?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Paveo plays high-quality video as well as images.

Question 9

Can I change the content myself?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Update your screen any time from the Paveo app or portal — or use Paveo AI to design an ad from a sentence.

Question 10

Do I need to create my own ads?

Accepted Answer

No, but you can. Upload your own artwork any time, use Paveo AI to design an ad from a sentence, or ask the Paveo design team to create it for you.

Question 11

Is there an extra cost for new ads?

Accepted Answer

No. Paveo AI and the Paveo design team are both included in your subscription price.

Question 12

How big is a Paveo unit?

Accepted Answer

About 1 metre (1000 mm) high, 565 mm wide and 593 mm deep when open — roughly the footprint of a standard A-frame.

Question 13

Where can Paveo displays go?

Accepted Answer

Anywhere you’d put an A-frame: busy streets, shopping centres, parks, transport hubs and entertainment districts.

Question 14

Do I need special council approval?

Accepted Answer

Requirements are similar to those for A-frames and chalkboards, so you’ll need the same footpath permits you’d need for a regular sign.

Question 15

How are displays protected against vandalism and theft?

Accepted Answer

Every Paveo display is fully insured against theft and vandalism. An excess fee is still payable on any claim.

Question 16

Do Paveo displays come with a warranty?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every display comes with a standard warranty covering manufacturing defects and certain operational issues.

Question 17

How do I get started?

Book a free 14-day trial, or email us at hello@paveo.com.au and we’ll guide you through it.

Question 18

How does the free trial work?

Accepted Answer

We deliver a Paveo unit to your business for free, set it up, train your team and make your first ads. You use it free for 14 days, and when the trial ends it automatically continues on the subscription you chose when you booked.
